Never too old.....to learn something new.

I went with TC and her class on a first grade walking field trip.

The base has a limestone forest near a natural wetlands area.

The kids have been tracking and counting crab holes and making observations about the environment
through-out the school year.

It was great fun!

Special guest from the base - Gretchen Grimm - a biologist
She was AMAZING with the kids and I enjoyed talking to her and learning from her too!
