Harvest cross country - week 2

 Michael's second week of school brought two meets.

Away meet on Monday against Guam High -

Guam High is the Department of Defense High School that Michael would go to if we hadn't decided to send him to private school.  

So, it was a little strange to see so many people that we know on the "other" team.  I don't know how Michael felt, I'm speaking for myself.

ANYWAY.... it wasn't raining this time.

But, it was another mud bath.

The course was mostly in the jungle, so....we only saw the runners at the beginning and the end.

where being 6'2 has it's advantages.....

and your long stride puts you in front.....

(*and I'll forgive the coach just this once for stepping in front of my photo pointing the finish line...

like the big orange cones aren't enough of a clue.......

And it's worth the pain .......

Another win for Harvest boys and girls cross-country
