We function better together!
in a team
in a PACK
We aren't made to run solo.
We even believe this about marriage -
because we have the term, "opposites attract"
Don't you think it's because one can be strong in an area where the other is weak?
I can think of many times in my life where simple acts of kindness have made a lasting impact on my life.
After Mike finished boot camp back in January of 1990 - we met another married couple and started
doing lots of things together. Our times together were built on simple friendship and all things new:
Newly married
New to the Navy
and far from family - in a new place;
learning how to build a home together.
This couple is Michael and Krysti Ansley.
22 years later - we have six boys between the two families and haven't been stationed together again.
But the friendship and the memories remain.
And I am THANKFUL!
For this reason -
I am asking you to support Mike's efforts to raise money for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Here is the link to his fund raising page: CLICK HERE
You can read more about his story below.

Hey!
Do you remember my friend, Mike Ansley?
If you missed my previous posts,
you can read about him
here
I wanted to give you an update.
He has received a bone marrow transplant!
We are so happy for his progress and happy to share with you that he continues to get stronger. He has a long road ahead of him still and appreciates your prayers.
There are many more people out there fighting as they wait for a donor.
Have you signed up to be a bone marrow donor yet?
THANK YOU
